Before starting this blog, I invested in Nomadic Matt Superstar blogging course, and I must say this is one of the best decisions I took during those early periods.
First things first, have at the back of your mind that knowing how to start a travel blog is complicated than is sounds, and building a successful travel blog is much trickier.
The road to success is not just long but rough. Personally, I feel no one should start a travel blog at first. Secondly, you need to have an incredible set of skills to run a travel blog, such as selecting amazing travel blog post topics, social media management, writing, marketing, Search engine optimization (SEO), videography, photography, website design, logo, and so on – picking a cool name for your travel blog is also difficult.
After discovering I had some of these skills, one of the first steps I took after deciding to build a travel blog was to sign up for Nomadic Matt Superstar blogging course. After completing this course, and having been running a blog for nearly six months, I felt I should give back by writing this superstar blogging review to help some of you who wants to know if investing in a professional travel blogging course is a good idea.
Nomadic Matt Superstar Blogging Course Review: Why I was skeptic at first
To be frank, I had my doubts about the course, especially if it was worth the high price (upfront payment of $249). We all have heard about different scams on the internet, and we have become extra careful about paying for information we see online. Initially, I thought I could find how to create a travel blog by finding free information on the net. Well, two things made me change my mind on paying for the course:
- First, spending a few dollars to acquire a new skill from one of the best experienced travel blogger was fair enough.
- Second, the course comes with a money back guarantee for 30 days. You will get a refund if you don’t like what you see. So, I felt I should try the course out since I had nothing to lose.
After six months, I must say I’m glad I made that decision, and if I have an opportunity to pay again for the course, I will gladly do it without hesitation (in fact, I may soon pay for one of his courses on travel writing, photography or videography).
Now you have two options of payment:
- one payment of $249
- three payments of $99
About the author and why you should pay for this course?

Why the superstar blogging business of blogging course is not suitable for everybody
Well, not everyone can benefit from this course. If any of the following is true about you, I recommend you don’t sign up.
- If you are only interested in building a personal travel blog to keep your friends and family updated and not growing your followers.
- If you are not ready to dedicate the time and effort required to keep up with the course and implement the knowledge gained on your travel blog
- If you are a successful travel blogger with many years of experience and you are already making money from your blog.
However, if you are a beginner or a mid-level blogger hoping to expand your business, then investing in this course is worth it.
Although I feel there is value for bloggers, regardless of their level, I think this course is priceless, especially for first timers or people who wants to start a blog. I enrolled for this course the same period I started my blog, and I discovered that the course structure is really suitable for people who wants to move from the conceptual phase through the process involved in creating and marketing a blog.

Why do I need a course in creating a travel blog? Can’t I find relevant information on the net for free?
The net is filled with lots of information. So you can find free information, some may be useful and others might be useless. I have come across different articles over the past six months on how to create and run a successful travel blog.
What I can say is that most of the information you find on the net for free are outdated, difficult to understand, or probably false. You will have to go through lots of bad recommendation, and knowing who to trust can be difficult.
I must say, you cannot compare the information you will find in Nomadic Matt’s travel blogging course with anything you get on the internet for free. So if you are concerned about running a blog the right way, and you are not really interested in surface knowledge – you want an in-depth knowledge of the platforms that’s worth it, the type of content to post, how to build and increase followers – then you need to sign up for this course.

I feel this group is one of the interesting thing about signing up for this course. You get to see different questions from people and advices from other members which can be very useful to you. Matt also respond to questions in the group and encourages student to tag him in comments or post so they will get instant response.
